Implementation starts with the design and a migration plan built with your operations and application teams, so that dependencies are understood and change windows are agreed well in advance.
Implement
Configurations are produced from standards and reviewed before use. During the cutover, Metis engineers work alongside your team, following the runbook, validating each checkpoint, and holding the rollback ready.
Enable
After the change, we stay until the environment is steady and the documentation reflects reality, then hand over to the team that will run it.
Questions we are asked
The questions that come up on most scoping calls for implementation work.
Do you need write access to our network?
Only during agreed change windows, and only under your change process. Configurations are produced from standards and reviewed with your team before they are used.
Will you be onsite for the cutover?
When it matters, yes. Data center and campus cutovers usually put us in the room; WAN, cloud, and policy changes can often be done remotely with your team on the bridge.
Can you implement a design from another firm?
Yes. We review it first, say what we would change, and then build it as written or as amended. The design does not have to be ours.
Who runs the network after the change?
Your team, or your MSP. We stay until the environment is steady and the documentation reflects reality, then hand over. If you want Metis to keep specific ongoing responsibilities afterward, that is scoped as an advisory retainer, not a managed service contract.
How is implementation priced?
As a fixed fee per milestone, with acceptance criteria agreed up front so both sides know when a milestone is done. Metis does not sell or resell hardware, software, or circuits, and takes no referral fees or commissions from anyone who does. A bill of materials from us is a recommendation, and you buy from whoever you choose.
